F1 22 is an immersive racing sim, and developer Codemasters is best-in-class when it comes to bringing the high-octane thrills of Formula One racing to life. You would think, then, that the title would be a shoo-in to receive a PSVR 2 port.
Well, that isn't the case, or at least it isn't right now. In an interview with UploadVR, Codemasters Senior Producer David Williams said that they had "no plans for a PSVR 2 version at the moment", but that they will "continue to look at all opportunities."
The PC version of F1 22 currently supports VR functionality, and it's assumed that PSVR on PS4 would be a difficult port job due to the console's power. Here's hoping the release of the PSVR 2 will cause Codemasters to have a change of heart, and utilize the full power of the PS5 to develop a native port.
We enjoyed F1 22, and you can read our full thoughts on the PS5 version of the game in our review.

As great as it would be as a PSVR2 launch patch for F1 22, I’m fine with them skipping this year. But I hope it’s fully supported in F1 23.
As the game it this state they better should concentrate in fixing the bugs. Welcome to the EA family. Never saw a more broken F1 game in my whole life.
PSVR support in F1 would be awesome. I hope this can be worked on for later after launch, if not, next years game like @soulchimera said
Welcome to EA. All the innovative aspects of the F1 games, (Classic cars, story mode ..) all gone since EA took it over as a cash cow.
From what I have read, it isn't implemented well at all for the PC version - so not a great loss. Maybe F1 '23, as long as they don't give up on VR...
